Most of people make resolutions in January whereas teachers have one more opportunity – the beginning of the school year. I remember only that my New Year’s resolution concerned something like work-life balance. I can perfectly recall the lesson I taught then and the handout with golden rules that make you keep your promise:
- Don’t make too many resolutions.
- Choose a realistic one.
- Tell others about it.
- Don’t give up even if you break your promise.
So I decided to make a New School Year’s resolution and hereby I’m sharing it with world:
Recycle more, waste less.
My intention is to recycle handouts, ideas, paper and all other stuff that can be used in a classroom. I’m going to search for time-saving but still attractive ways to prepare and conduct my lessons. Hope to have a creative year of teaching and come up with a lot of tricks to share 😀
Happy and creative teaching in 2016/2017!
